Transparency Matters
You should know exactly who can access your information, how your data is being used, and what is being done to protect it. Companies should lay this out in plain English not hide it in fine print.
Private Means Private
Here's a simple rule for who can see what on our site:
Stuff where you type words like your name, why you're creating an AI Person, or your messages to them will never be seen by a human being (even our team).
Stuff you click (like choosing a role for your support) can be used for research or to make the site better.
None of your data will ever be sold. Ever.
We Hate Ads Too
Some AI platforms allow your information to be used for marketing targeting. No offense, but...no. You will never see a display ad based on something you mentioned to your AI Person. We will never sell or give raw data to a third party, and aggregate data will only ever be used for research (not to make money).
We Keep Your Data Close
Rather than giving massive chunks of information to an external LLM to process, we use granular API calls and store your data (including any identifiable information) on our side of the firewall. This means more peace of mind for you.
Your Identity is a Secret
We keep identifiable information (like your email or billing info) in a completely separate place from your user profile, your AI People, and your messages. In anything our team can see, your info is tied to a user id number, never your name or email. You could be Batman and we'd never know. (Please be Batman.)
Using Your Data
We analyze data for three reasons: to make the site better, to help our AI People learn, and to understand our users. All three are internal, confidential, and anonymous.
